Hottest Online House Parties While We #StayHome

Some call it Club Quarantine, others Homeschoolin’ but the message is clear the party doesn’t stop… the party keeps YOU going while stuck at home.

Whether searching for positive vibes, an all-ages way to keep your family moving, or a charitable way to get involved there is a party for everyone – the bonus? You get to walk into the club with your pajamas on if you want.

Here are a few of Daytrip’s favorites.

Daybreaker – The once in-person morning rave has gone live online. With bi-weekly themed costume parties and special guests (this week’s guest is Dancing with the Stars celeb Julianne Hough the creator of KINRGY) the routine is simple, start with a workout, dance your booty off and then cool down with mindful meditation. Tickets are $15 and support the community of artist and performers that would otherwise be unemployed in this quarantine.

Homeschoolin’ - If more spontaneity is what you’re searching for – look no further than D-Nice and his epic 9-hour spin sessions and pop in when you feel like shakin’ it. Last Friday night 4,000 people were in attendance, including headliners like Jennifer Lopez, Drake, Naomi Campbell, Diddy, Mary J. Blige, DJ Khaled, T.I., Queen Latifah and Tracee Ellis Ross. Follow him on Instagram for updates on when he’s next spinning #ClubQuarantine

Sweatfest – two-time Grammy-nominated choreographer behind Sia’s “Chandelier” music video, is streaming dance classes on Instagram Live. Fun for the whole family with uplifting tunes and props Ryan Heffington is getting a living room moving and helping those teachers and dancers who can’t perfom through donations.

DJ Mel’s Austin Jam Session – on Facebook live, Austin’s popular DJ Mel Cavaricci of President Obama inauguration party fame not to mention Austin City Limits and Bonnaroo spins old-school soul and hip hop. The stream starts at 6 p.m. CST Saturday each week on DJ Mel’s Facebook page and while the official cut-off time is 10 p.m., Mel frequently keeps the party going later. He doesn’t accept personal tips, but he does solicit contributions to a selected charity each week.

Slo’ Mo – Chicago’s famous LGBTQ party went live streaming R&B, soul, hip hop and house with suggested $5 donations.
